I blame the neon glory of the 1980’s for the vitality of my palette and an unholy love for Lisa Frank that seared itself into my developing child brain. After exploring many mediums I’ve found watercolor and gouache best fit the dreamy brightly colored blurred line of creepy and cute most of my paintings echo.
I’ve never fit into a traditional sort of art style and always found the counterculture of pop surrealism a powerful influence as I have always been drawn to animation, comics and Japanese culture which best embodies the movement. View all posts by jewettmegan
